Bhubaneswar, Jul 15: Odisha's pride and Indian Idol Season 16 Top 5 finalist Jyotirmayee received a grand welcome upon her arrival in Bhubaneswar ahead of the show's grand finale.

The talented singer returned to the state to seek the blessings of Lord Jagannath and the support of the people of Odisha before competing in the final stage of the prestigious singing reality show.

As soon as she arrived at the Biju Patnaik International Airport, enthusiastic fans, supporters, and well-wishers greeted her with traditional drumbeats and a warm reception. The celebrations continued with a vibrant roadshow as Jyotirmayee was escorted from the airport to Rasulgarh and later to her residence, with hundreds of fans joining the procession to cheer for her.

Apart from impressing audiences with her melodious voice, Jyotirmayee has earned widespread admiration for using music as a tool for social good. She has been actively involved in providing music therapy to cancer patients, a unique initiative that sets her apart from many other contestants.

With immense support from her home state and blessings from Lord Jagannath, Jyotirmayee is all set to represent Odisha on the national stage in the Indian Idol Season 16 grand finale.
