Food Safety Department and BMC conduct surprise raids across Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, June 16: The Food Safety Department, in coordination with the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), has launched joint surprise raids at various shops across the city to ensure food quality and safety.
Following reports of food adulteration and quality concerns spreading to different parts of the state, the authorities have intensified inspections. Key areas under scrutiny include Kalinga Nagar and other localities within Bhubaneswar.
Officials confirmed that the inspections are aimed at checking the standard of food products sold in these establishments. Those found violating food safety norms will face strict legal action.
