BJD suspends 3 Balasore leaders for anti-party activities during college elections

Bhubaneswar, October 11: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Saturday suspended three party leaders from Balasore district for alleged anti-party activities during the College Elections-2026.

Those suspended include Dhiren Kumar Nayak, a member of the Biju Yuva Janata Dal (BYJD), Balasore; Bibhudutta Parida, a member of the Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD), Balasore; and Manas Das Pattnaik, former coordinator of the BJD in Balasore.

​​​​​​​According to an official order issued by the party General Secretary Bijay Nayak, the suspension of the three leaders has come into immediate effect. The action was taken over their alleged involvement in activities deemed detrimental to the party's interests during the college elections.
