Jajpur, May 5: In a tragic incident, a father-son duo was killed and the mother sustained critical injuries after they came in contact with a live wire in Bengapatia locality of Odisha’s Jajpur district.
The deceased have been identified as Ganesh Mandal and his son Ashu Mandal. Ashu’s mother Tulasi Mandal is currently undergoing treatment.
As per reports, some electrical work was going on in the house when the trio came in contact with a live wire and fell unconscious. Thereafter, they were rushed to a nearby hospital where the attending doctors declared Ganesh and Ashu dead.
On getting the information, police arrived at the spot and took stock of the situation. The cops also seized the bodies of the deceased persons and sent them for post-mortem.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
