Cuttack, Sep 6: After the preliminary rounds, eight soccer teams have qualified for the MGM FAO Super Cup 2024.
The eight teams were chosen after the MGM FAO First Division League 2024, which concluded on Thursday. Four teams from the Diamond Group, three teams from the Gold Group and one team from the Silver Group, were chosen to play the FAO Super Cup 2024, which is scheduled to start from September 13.
The four teams from the Diamond Group that got the qualification for the Super Cup are: Sunrise Club, Rovers Cup, Radha Raman Club and Sports Odisha, informed FAO sources.
Similarly from the Gold Group the teams that were picked were - Kishore Club, Mangala Club and Odisha Police. The solitary team that topped the Silver Group and chosen for the Super Cup is Silver Junior Gallant Club, sources added.
