Cuttack, Oct 1: On the occasion of Maha Navami, the ninth day of Navratri, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi paid visits to several Durga Puja Mandaps in Cuttack on Wednesday, offering prayers and seeking blessings of Maa Durga.
The Chief Minister began his tour at the Puja Mandap in Pratap Nagari before moving on to other well-known locations including Nuapada, Nuabazar, Potapokhari, Chauliaganj, Jobra, College Chhak, Chhatra Bazar, Khan Nagar, Malgodown, Choudhury Bazar, Chandini Chowk, Shaikh Bazar, Bidanasi, and the CDA area.
At each venue, members of the respective Puja committees welcomed CM Majhi with warmth and enthusiasm. The city resonated with devotion and festive spirit as crowds gathered to greet him during his visits.
Extending his greetings to the people of Odisha, the Chief Minister remarked, “The Goddess embodies strength and protection. May She bless everyone with peace and happiness.”
