​​​​​​​Dhenkanal, Oct 5: The College Bazaar Puja Committee in Dhenkanal has embraced a unique theme for this year’s Gajalaxmi Puja- the famous Khandagiri Caves of Bhubaneswar.

 The stunning replica of the ancient caves, complete with a 25-metre-long structure, has become the centre of attraction for visitors.

Celebrated since 1958, the College Bazaar Gajalaxmi Puja has been a symbol of unity and brotherhood in the town. Marking its 67th year, the committee continues to uphold its tradition of devotion while adding innovative themes each year to draw crowds.

This year’s highlights include an artificial waterfall and beautifully designed selfie points that enhance the cave’s realistic ambience. Devotees and visitors alike are thronging the puja mandap to witness the creative craftsmanship and seek blessings from Goddess Laxmi.

The organisers said that the theme reflects Odisha’s rich cultural heritage and aims to promote awareness about the state’s ancient monuments among the younger generation.
