Bhubaneswar, Sep 23: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said twin cities Bhubaneswar and Cuttack are likely to experience moderate to intense rain accompanied with lightning on Monday.
Moderate to intense rain/thundershower with lightning accompanied with strong surface wind speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph likely to affect some parts of twin city area Bhubaneswar and Cuttack city,” informed the Bhubaneswar met centre.
It has issued an orange warning.
The met department has advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strikes and intense spells of rain.
