Speaking to the media, Archana stated that she has submitted a written complaint backed with evidence against those who have allegedly tortured and wrongfully framed her and her family members. She urged the state authorities to intervene and take appropriate action.

Archana also claimed that several influential individuals in the state played a key role in the case against her. “In the coming days, the people of Odisha will see the true faces of those who have remained behind the scenes and misused their power,” she remarked.

It is noteworthy that Archana Nag had previously been accused of entrapping high-profile individuals, including businessman Srimanta Pradhan (alias Barabatia), in a honeytrap scandal and amassing property worth crores. Both Archana and her husband Jagabandhu Chand were named in the case and accused of blackmailing wealthy individuals using obscene videos and threats.

Following investigations, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had seized their palatial bungalow and other properties after they failed to account for the disproportionate assets in their possession.

Archana’s recent appearance at the CM’s Grievance Cell signals her attempt to counter the allegations and bring attention to what she describes as a politically and personally motivated conspiracy. The case continues to generate public interest as further revelations are expected in the coming days.
