Phulbani, August 10: While Odisha’s Jaga, Lord Jagannath in Puri Srimandir was tying silk-woven Rakshi from his sister Subhadra, Jaga, the conjoined twin survivor of Phulbani village had tied Rakshi from his toddler sister Subhadra, on the occasion of Rakshi Bandhan celebrated on Saturday.
Rakshi Bandhan that marks the eternal bondage between siblings once in a year, was especially celebrated in the District Headquarters Hospital, Phulbani.
Jaga who has been blessed with a sister, is currently under medical care for repair of his scull. It’s why Rakshi Bandhan was well organized in the hospital by the ward’s crew members and Jaga’s parents to tie a rakshi around the boy’s wrist.
Accordingly Jaga’s parents fetched fascinating rakhis, some sweets, turmeric powder, flowers and other puja essentials. Little Subhadra tied the Rakshi on her brother’s wrist with utmost affection. On the other hand, Jaga acknowledged it with joy patted his sister’s head with smile and fulfillment, that’s wearing a colorful Rakhi like other boys moving across the medical ward.
Jaga’s parents,doctors, paramedics with hundreds of onlookers, found enjoying the merriment that the siblings, Jaga and Subhadra was displaying then.
