Puri, July 16:The Shri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) on Tuesday lodged complaint against the trespassers who had unauthorisedly ascended onto the chariots during the Rath Yatra.
Officer on Special Duty (Development) Ajaya Kumar Jena, on behalf of the SJTA filed the complaints with the Singhadwara Police in the afternoon.
Submitting the photographs and video footage featuring the sheer violation of the SJTA’s directives and guidelines laid down for Rath Yatra, Jena urged the police to identify the offenders and take legal action against them.
The complaint read, “ I am directed to inform you that we have noticed the presence of some unauthorized persons/ sevaks in the chariots of Lords during this years Ratha Yatra.This is a clear violation of the Byabasthabali formulated for smooth management of this year’s Rath Yatra”.
“You are requested to identify the wrong doers and take necessary action as per rule”, the complaint added.
