Bhubaneswar, Sept 17: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will embark on a visit to New Delhi this evening to attend a high-profile business roadshow scheduled for tomorrow, aimed at boosting foreign investment in the state.
Chief Minister Majhi announced his scheduled visit during the 'Seba Sankalpa Abhiyan' event held at the Exhibition Ground in Bhubaneswar.
During his stay in the national capital, the Chief Minister is slated to hold bilateral discussions with business delegations from Europe, Japan, and South Korea. According to Majhi, representatives from these nations have expressed strong interest in investing in Odisha.
The high-level deliberations will focus on accelerating capital inflows into Odisha’s key growth drivers, specifically the industrial and technology sectors. Highlighting the state's economic strategy, the Chief Minister noted that the government is laying down a roadmap to establish Odisha as a major hub for semiconductor manufacturing and technology.
