CM designate and Deputies honor Odisha icons ahead of swearing-in

Bhubaneswar, June 12: Odisha's Chief Minister-designate, Mohan Charan Majhi, commenced his day by paying homage to prominent figures of the state in Bhubaneswar, ahead of his swearing-in ceremony at Janata Maidan today evening. 

Accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister-designates KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, along with several BJP leaders, Majhi embarked on this ceremonial journey. The BJP delegation garlanded statues of iconic personalities such as Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das, Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Das, and BR Ambedkar at various landmarks, including Gopandhu Square and AG Square. Their itinerary also included Vani Vihar, where they honored the memory of Fakir Mohan Senapati. 

Along the way, Majhi engaged with members of the community, attentively listening to their grievances. Assuring consideration for their concerns, Majhi expressed determination to address the unmet needs of the populace, pledging diligent efforts under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
