Rourkela:The Steel City of Odisha witnessed a major milestone in its industrial calendar as Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) Pavilion. This ceremony marked the commencement of the 25th Enterprise Odisha exhibition, a premier event scheduled from January 28 to 30, 2026. Joining the Chief Minister was Shri Sampad Swain, the Minister for Industries, Skill Development, and Technical Education.
The OMC Pavilion stands as a centerpiece of the expo, illustrating the corporation's rapid ascent in the mining sector. Currently recognized as India’s third-largest iron ore producer, OMC is moving toward record-breaking production figures this fiscal year. This growth is fueled by a commitment to operational efficiency and high-standard mining practices.
