Bhubaneswar, September 21: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday called on Odisha Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati at the Lok Bhavan and discussed development and cooperation to further strengthen relations between the two neighbouring States.

“Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Ji, called on me at Lok Bhavan today. We exchanged views on the rich cultural heritage shared by Odisha and Chhattisgarh, and discussed development and cooperation in various fields,” posted Kambhampati on ‘X’.
The Governor said that the interaction reflected the strong cultural bonds between the two States.

“The interaction reflected the strong cultural bonds between the two States and the scope for further strengthening our shared ties,” wrote Kambhampati.
Taking to ‘X’ Chief Minister Sai said, “Today, a courtesy meeting was held with the Hon'ble Governor of Odisha, Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati Ji, at Lok Bhawan in Bhubaneswar. During this time, discussions took place on various contemporary topics.”
Sai is visiting Odisha with his wife.
Sai arrived in Bhubaneswar on a two-day visit to Odisha on Sunday. He met Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at the latter's official residence in Bhubaneswar yesterday. The wives of both Chief Ministers were also present during the meeting.
The Odisha Chief Minister's Office described it as a courtesy visit. The two leaders exchanged greetings and held a brief conversation. Majhi welcomed Sai with a ceremonial shawl and presented him with a memento.
