Chasing Shadows Art Exhibition Opens In Bhubaneswar Featuring Sixteen Brilliant Local Creators

Sixteen talented visual creators showcase deep emotions through striking canvases

Shakuntala Art Gallery in Kaushalyaganga officially launched its five-day creative showcase, Chasing Shadows, bringing together sixteen local talents to explore profound human experiences. Sangram Maharana and visual creator Mamata Samantaray opened the event on Sunday morning.

Odisha holds a deep historical heritage of traditional Pattachitra painting, which makes modern abstract displays essential for evolving the regional aesthetic discourse.

Gallery Director Janardan Paramaguru welcomed guests by highlighting his goal to bridge communication between emerging creators and established professionals. During his address, Maharana emphasized that paintings reflect societal evolution rather than just visual beauty. Samantaray praised younger participants, noting how such events enrich cultural conversations.
