Bhubaneswar, April 1: Souvic Biswal, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) candidate, has launched his campaign in the Chaudwar-Cuttack assembly constituency.
As the incumbent MLA, he organized a women and youth gathering at Mahanadi Vihar. During this event, he expressed gratitude to BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik and 5T chairman VK Pandian for their unwavering support. The party has once again entrusted him with a ticket for the upcoming election.
Souvic also acknowledged the BJD-led government’s efforts in significant developmental projects, including the establishment of the Netajee Bus Terminal, the Urban Hat Complex, and the beautification of the Taladanda Canal. With these accomplishments, he aims to connect with voters and seek their support in the upcoming election.
Son of former MLA Pravat Biswal, Souvic is running as a BJD candidate for the second time. In the 2019 election, he secured a decisive victory over BJP candidate Nayan Kishaor Mohanty. As he contests for the same seat once more, the political landscape will become clearer once the BJP and Congress announce their candidates.
