On the 18th of November 2025, the Boudh police imposed a fine of ₹1,000 on auto driver Sanjeev Satapathy for not wearing a helmet while operating his three-wheeler vehicle.
Sanjeev, initially unaware of the fine, but was surprised when he received a text message notifying him about the ₹1,000 fine, which was to be paid within ten days. Upon viewing the printed challan, Sanjeev was shocked to see the reason for the penalty: "Driving without a helmet."
