Reports indicate that she left the country with her sister Sheikh Rehana on Monday afternoon aboard a military helicopter bound for India.
The Bengal CM also appealed to the people to maintain peace in the state urging them not to pay attention to any kind of rumors.
Meanwhile, BJP leader Locket Chatterjee said that if needed Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interfere in the matter of political crisis in Bangladesh.
