Bhubaneswar, Aug 30: Odisha vigilance conducted simultaneous raids on Friday at the properties of Pradeep Das, a junior clerk in the Balasore District Education Office (DEO), following allegations of disproportionate assets.
The raid is being conducted by two Additional SPs, four DSPs, seven Inspectors, five ASIs, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Balasore at the following six places in Balasore district:
A triple-storeyed residential building located at Angargadia, Balasore.
Das’ paternal house at Bhuinpada, Khantapada, Balasore.
A market complex owned by Das at Madhagada, Sergarh, Balasore.
A house of his relative located at Kahalia, Nilagiri, Balasore.
House of his another relative at Bhuinpada, Khantapada, Balasore.
The office room of Das located at the Collectorate Campus in Balasore.
