Mumbai, June 18: Air India cancelled three international flights on Wednesday due to a combination of maintenance, technical issues, and regulatory constraints.
According to the airline, two of the affected flights were called off after passengers had already boarded the aircraft, causing inconvenience to travelers.
One of the cancelled services includes Flight AI188 on the Toronto-Delhi route. The airline attributed the cancellation to extended maintenance work, which resulted in the operating crew exceeding their allowable duty hours under regulatory norms.
Air India expressed regret over the disruption and said necessary steps were being taken to address the issues and assist affected passengers.
