Ahmedabad, June 12: The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau(AAIB) will probe the Ahmedabad Plane crash took place in Gujarat on Thursday.
According to an official, The AAIB Director General and the Director of Investigation at the agency, among others, will be leaving soon for Ahmedabad for the probe at ground zero, the official said.
Under the civil aviation ministry, the AAIB is responsible for the classification of safety occurrences, involving aircraft operating in the Indian airspace into accidents and serious incidents.
The AAIB, in general carries out detailed investigations into accidents and also suggests measures to improve the safety measures in flights and air services.
