New Delhi, April 4: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has expressed disappointment over Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha's failure to address important issues affecting Punjab in Parliament, accusing him of neglecting his responsibilities.
In a joint statement, Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, AAP’s state president Aman Arora, and party leader Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal condemned Chadha's inaction, stating that his silence on pressing matters was in stark contrast to the party's commitment to championing the state's concerns.
Cheema emphasized that Chadha, who was elected to the Rajya Sabha by Punjab's MLAs, had a duty to represent the state's interests at the national level. However, he claimed that Chadha had not raised any significant issues related to Punjab during his tenure, which was both surprising and disappointing.
