Bhubaneswar, Dec 14: Eight new Kendriya Vidyalayas (Central Schools) will soon open in Odisha, as approved during a recent meeting of the Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister. The decision was made during the economic affairs cabinet meeting held last week.
A total of 85 Kendriya Vidyalayas and 28 Navodaya Vidyalayas have been given the green light for establishment across the country.
In Odisha, the new Kendriya Vidyalayas will be set up in the following at ITBP Khordha, Titlagarh and Patnagarh in Bolangir district, Athmallik and Talcher in Angul district, Kuchinda in Sambalpur district, Kamakhyanagar in Dhenkanal district and Jeypore in Koraput district.
This initiative will provide improved educational facilities to students in these regions, contributing to the growth of the state's educational infrastructure.
