Dehradun, Ap 30: The Uttarakhand licensing authority on Monday took action, suspending licenses for 14 Patanjali products.
This decision came after an affidavit was filed in the Supreme Court, revealing the suspension due to misleading advertisements by Patanjali's Divya Pharmacy.
Among the banned items are Drishti Eye drop, Swasari Gold, and others. The Supreme Court will address this matter on Tuesday, following an apology by Yoga guru Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna.
Earlier, the court had criticized Patanjali for not prominently displaying their apology in newspapers and had directed them to cease advertisements claiming to treat specific ailments under the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act.
