Ganjam, June 18: In a bizarre incident, a woman from Odisha’s Ganjam allegedly strangulated her spouse to death late at night on Tuesday.

The accused identified as Anjana was making a frantic effort to pass the incident off as a case of suicide, but in vain.

The incident took place at Mundamarai village under the Dharakote police limits in Ganjam. 

According to report, the woman in a fit of rage strangulated her husband, Amar Nayak’s head following a heated oral duel last night.

Onn being informed, police rushed the spot, recovered the body and send it for medical examination. Subsequently, the woman was detained for interrogation.
