Vande Mataram Row: Odisha BJP Youth Unit files complaint against Congress leaders

Bhubaneswar, August 17: The Odisha unit of the BJP’s youth wing has lodged a police complaint against Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, accusing them of disrespecting Vande Mataram during an Independence Day programme.

BJP Yuva Morcha state president Abhilash Panda said on Sunday that the complaint sought action against the three Congress leaders for allegedly showing “disrespect” to the national song and obstructing its singing during the event.
