Delhi, April 28: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday met 'Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserve Limited' (ISPRL) officials in Delhi and discussed on the proposed Petroleum Reserve Project in Odisha’s Chandikhol.
This 4 Million Metric Ton (MMT) capacity oil storage project in the Jajpur district of the state will create new opportunities for development and employment in Odisha in the near future.
Following a fruitful & engaging discussion, Pradhan wrote on X, “Met with officials of 'Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserve Limited' (ISPRL) in New Delhi. On this occasion, I discussed the progress of the 'Strategic Petroleum Reserve' project to be established at Chandikhol in Jajpur district.”
“The double engine government is committed to strengthening India's energy security by developing Odisha as a major 'Energy Hub' of the country through the 'Purvoday' mission of the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi”, the post added.
