Bhubaneswar, Nov 1: Two people were killed and another sustained critical injuries after a speeding bus rammed into a car and ran over pedestrians near CRP Square in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.

According to reports, the bus was being driven recklessly when it hit the car with great force. The vehicle then struck pedestrians walking along the roadside, leaving three people injured.

A woman and a man died on the spot, while another person sustained critical injuries. The injured person was rescued and rushed to Capital Hospital for treatment.

Following the accident, the bus driver allegedly fled the scene with the vehicle.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident. Further details regarding the identities of the victims and the circumstances leading to the accident are awaited.
