Bhubaneswar, Sept 11: The trial run of Odisha's second Vande Bharat Express connecting Puri to Talcher was conducted today.
However, the commencement date is yet to be announced officially.
The blue and white train will have stoppages at stations- Khordha, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Dhenkanal. It will halt at stations for two minutes only.
During the inauguration of the Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express with Tejas rakes, Union Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw had said that the second Vande Bharat Express would run on the Puri-Rourkela route.
The first semi-high-speed train in Odisha on the Puri-Howrah was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on virtual mode on May 18.
