The drive, running from March 21 to March 31, will cover accident-prone areas, national and state highways, mining and industrial zones, city and village roads, key junctions, market areas, and bus stands.

Strict checks will target:

Over-speeding

Drunk driving

Riding without helmets

Driving on the wrong side

Overloading

Carrying passengers in goods vehicles

Driving without a valid license

Underage driving

More than two riders on a two-wheeler

Other traffic violations

Special attention will be given to heavy vehicles including tippers, dumpers, and trucks used in mining and construction, with focus on driving licenses, overloading, and compliance with transport laws.

The Transport Department will coordinate closely with district administrations and police to ensure effective implementation of the enforcement drive.
