J&K, May 16: While India moves up in doing away with the Pakistan-sponsored terrorists and terror agencies, a hardcore terrorist in Pulwama was eliminated at the eleventh hour, as he did not lay down despite security forces frequent calls.
He was found talking with his mother on video call before his encounter. In the feature, the poor mother was seen begging his wayward son to hands up.
The scene went viral on social media as the terrorist, identified as Amir Nazir Wani.
The terrorist, Amir Nazir Wani, can be seen holding an AK-47 while speaking to his mother.
"Let the army come forward, then I will see," he said his mother during the call.
Amir was among the three Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists who were killed in a gunfight with security forces in the Nadir village of Tral area in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district.
The three terrorists killed in the encounter were identified as Asif Ahmed Sheikh, Amir Nazir Wani and Yawar Ahmad Bhat, all residents of Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district.
Amir made the video call from the house they were hiding in before the gunfight erupted. Amir's mother and his sister spoke to him on video call. He also spoke to Asif's sister who also enquired about her brother.
In line with the protocol, the security forces wanted these terrorists to surrender but they opened fire, and finally killed.
