Subhadra Yojana 5th Instalment on August 28: Who will get all five payments together?

Bhubaneswar, August 17: Odisha women beneficiaries waiting for the next instalment of the Subhadra Yojana have received a major update. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on Monday that the next Subhadra assistance will be disbursed on August 28, 2026, coinciding with Raksha Purnima.

The financial assistance will be released during a state-level programme in Nayagarh, with more than one crore eligible women beneficiaries expected to receive the payment.

When Will the 5th Subhadra Instalment Be Credited?

According to the Deputy Chief Minister, the fifth instalment of Subhadra assistance will be disbursed on August 28.

The announcement is expected to bring relief to thousands of women who have been waiting for the next payment under Odisha's flagship women-centric welfare programme.

What About Women Who Missed Earlier Instalments?

The government has also announced a significant provision for eligible beneficiaries who were left out of previous instalments.

Women who are found eligible despite missing earlier payments will reportedly receive all five instalments together.

This means beneficiaries who applied earlier but whose eligibility was confirmed only later will not lose the financial assistance due to them.

Who Will Be Eligible?

Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said that women who submit their applications by August 28 will be considered for the disbursement process, subject to verification and eligibility.

She said the applications would be considered district-wise and assured beneficiaries that there would be no loss of entitled benefits.

“If a woman was among the first applicants and is found eligible now, she will receive all five instalments together,” Parida said.

More Than One Crore Women to Receive Assistance

The government expects more than one crore beneficiaries to receive Subhadra assistance during the August 28 disbursement.

The state-level event in Nayagarh is expected to formally mark the release of the funds and highlight the government's focus on women's financial support and empowerment.

Raksha Purnima to Bring More Cheer for Beneficiaries

The decision to release the Subhadra assistance on Raksha Purnima is expected to make the occasion particularly significant for women across Odisha.

For beneficiaries who have been awaiting their payments, the August 28 disbursement could provide much-needed financial support, while the provision for releasing pending instalments together is likely to benefit eligible women who were left out earlier.

With the fifth instalment scheduled for August 28, all eyes are now on the Nayagarh state-level programme and the subsequent credit of the Subhadra assistance into beneficiaries' accounts.
