Bhubaneswar, Oct 29: Netizens have resorted to battle after photos and videos of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty in Bhubaneswar Lingaraj Temple premises went viral on social media.
In the viral video, a servitor is seen sharing the actress regarding spiritual aspects of Lingaraj Temple.
It sparked controversy among netizens after the actress shared images from inside the temple as photography is prohibited.
According to sources, Shilpa Shetty had visited Bhubaneswar recently to inaugurate a jewelry showroom and later she visited the 11th century Shiva shrine.
Notably, the temple administration prohibits use of mobile phones on temple premises, though the sevayats or servitors are allowed to carry theirs.
Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon had also landed in controversy for her photo shoot for an ad inside the Lingaraj Temple premises in 2018.
