Sundargarh, Aug 1: Sambalpuri Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and cultural fervour across Sundargarh on Friday to mark the birth anniversary of Guru Satyanarayan Bohidar, revered as the father of the Sambalpuri language.

While the occasion was observed with traditional grandeur throughout Western Odisha, the celebrations in Sundargarh witnessed active participation from local residents, cultural organisations, and artists.
