Bhubaneswar, Aug 29: In a gruesome incident, a minor boy slit the throat of a man for opposing his one-sided love affair with the victim's niece.

The accused, who was infatuated with the girl, was warned by her uncle, Jaga Mallick, to stop his advances.

In retaliation, the minor attacked Mallick with a sword when he was returning home on his bike, killing him on the spot.

The shocking crime has left the community in shock, and the police have launched a thorough investigation into the case.
