Mumbai, Sept 28: Actor Ranbir Kapoor celebrated his 44th birthday on Monday with paparazzi outside his residence.

Dressed in a maroon kurta and matching pants and sunglasses, he cut three cakes, including one shaped as number 44, and posed for photographs. He thanked the photographers with folded hands before leaving.

Ranbir is currently preparing for Nitish Tiwari’s Ramayan: part 1, in which he will portray lord Rama. The film also stars several actors Yash, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, and Ravi Dubey.

Produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in association with eight-time Academy Award – winning DNEG Yash’s Monster mind creations and distributed globally outside India by Sony pictures, it is scheduled for release on November 8, 2026. The second part is slated for diwali 2027.

He will also feature in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, alongside Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt, scheduled for January 2027 after multiple delays.

Additionally, Ranbir will reprise his role as Ranvijay singh in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal Park, which has been announced but is yet to receive a release date.
