Chhattisgarh, April 20: A private aircraft crashed into a tree in Chhattisgarh that eventually hit the ground on Monday.
The incident took place in the Jashpur district today while the mini aircraft was flying at about 30 feet high from the ground, reported locals.
Visuals from the spot showed thick smoke and flames from the crashed jet at the hillside situated in the Jashpur-Narayanpur region.
Though it is yet to assess the number of occupants on board, a number of casualties are feared in the ill-fated aircraft, locals’ accounts revealed.
On being informed, Police and Fire Fighters rushed to the spot. While, dousing operation is reportedly over, no official statement regarding the mishap has yet been issued.
