Bhubaneswar, Juen 2: President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will grace the second anniversary celebrations of the Odisha Government at Rairangpur of Mayurbhanj district on June 20, said an official release.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), a series of major infrastructure projects will be inaugurated, and foundation stones for new initiatives will be laid by the President and the Prime Minister on that day.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today chaired a meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan to fine-tune the preparations.

He directed senior officials to ensure flawless coordination, tight security, smooth traffic, and top-notch public amenities.

The President and the PM will also address a massive public meeting in Rairangpur to celebrate its second anniversary in power.

Chief Secretary Anu Garg, Development Commissioner D.K. Singh, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Hemant Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Shashwat Mishra, and other senior officials attended the meeting.

Modi had visited Odisha on June 20 last year to mark the first anniversary of the Mohan Charan Majhi-led Government in the State, inaugurating and laying foundation stones for infrastructure and development projects worth over Rs 18,600 crore.

The first BJP Government in Odisha is set to complete two years in office on June 12.
