President Murmu extends Nuakhai greetings to nation, highlights spirit of togetherness

Bhubaneswar, Sept 15: President Droupadi Murmu extended her warm greetings to the people of the country, particularly the people of Odisha, on the occasion of Nuakhai, the agrarian festival celebrated with traditional fervour in the state.

In her message, the President said Nuakhai is not merely a traditional festival but also a symbol of social and familial bonding. She highlighted the traditions of community feasting and meeting friends and relatives as expressions of togetherness and mutual affection.

 

President Murmu expressed confidence that the festival would further strengthen harmony, goodwill and fraternity among people. She also wished everyone happiness, peace and prosperity on the occasion of Nuakhai.
