Turekela, Sept 21: Police successfully rescued nine migrant workers from Turekela railway station while they were being trafficked to Hyderabad. Authorities have detained a person in connection with the case.

Sources said, the workers were lured with false promises of providing employment. They were being transported in a Bolero vehicle when police received a tip-off and intercepted the traffickers at the Turekela railway station.

During the investigation, officials git to know that the workers were being taken to Hyderabad.

Authorities have launched an investigation to uncover the trafficking network and identify other persons involved in this case.
