Paris, Aug 30: After a shooting Gold and Bronze in Paris Paralympics 2024 on Friday, Indian shooters seem to be eyeing more podium finish in Paris.
Shooter Manish Narwal qualified for P1 men’s 10m air pistol SH1 final after finishing fifth with a score of 565. He was a Gold medallist in Tokyo Paralympics in the mixed 50m pistol SH1 event.
While Manish did well, but it was heartbreak for Rudransh Khandelwal, who finished ninth with 561. He was just one point behind Uzbekistan’s Server Ibragimov, who took the last qualification spot for the finals.
Earlier on Friday, Indian woman shooter Avani Lekhara clinched a Gold medal at the women's 10m air rifle standing SH1 in the Paris Paralympics. India's Mona Agarwal clichéd Bronze, while Korean Yunri Lee claimed Silver.
