Bhubaneswar: Odisha's cue pride Subrat Das part of the Indian Billiards Team in Tour to Ireland won Irish Open Challenge Cup 2026, by defeating Srinu Katipogu of India by score 220-200 on Saturday.
In the final of 1 Hour, Subrat was trailing by 100 points in the first 51 mins. In Last 9 mins Subrat showed some quality Billiards display by making breaks of 60 and 40 to Overcome his opponent by 20 more points and finally defeating him by 220-200.
Highest Break of Tournament by Subrat Das 96 and 85. Subrat Das Received trophy from Jim Leacy ( IBSF Vice President and President of Ireland Billiards and Snooker Federation), in presence of Tournament Director Aonghus McAnally, and International Coach PJ Nolan.
Now Subrat Das will be Competing in IBSF World billiards championship from 25th to 28th April 2026.
