Sambalpur, June 23: The Odisha Vigilance on 23 June 2026 launched simultaneous search operations at seven locations linked to Sri Padmalochan Nayak, Executive Engineer of the Command Area Development Authority (CADA), Sambalpur Division, following allegations of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The searches were conducted after the issuance of search warrants by the Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur. The operation is being carried out by a team comprising 4 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), 13 Inspectors, 7 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), along with other supporting staff.

According to Vigilance sources, the raids are being conducted at multiple locations across Sambalpur, Cuttack, Balasore, and Malkangiri districts.

The following premises are being searched:

The rented residential house of Sri Padmalochan Nayak located at Dhanupali in Sambalpur.

His triple-storeyed residential building at Bidyadharpur in Cuttack.

A double-storeyed residential building at Mukhalis under Basta Police Station limits in Balasore district.

His office chamber located at Dhanupali, Sambalpur.

Two locations at the residence of his associates in Cuttack town.

One location linked to an associate at Kalimela in Malkangiri district.

Officials stated that the searches are still in progress and further details will be shared after completion of the operation.
