Odisha students achieve historic national ranks in engineering entrance
Bhubaneswar engineering aspirants grabbed the highest state honors in the newly declared JEE Advanced 2026 results. Master Bhavesh Patra secured All India Rank 29, emerging as the top ranker for the state. His peer from the same campus, Master Aryasmman Pradhan, clinched All India Rank 314, securing the second-highest position across the region. Both achievers completed their preparation through a specialized two-year integrated school curriculum.
This performance highlights Bhubaneswar's growing prominence as a major educational hub in eastern India, matching national benchmarks set by traditional coaching capitals. Patra now sets his sights on studying computer science at IIT Bombay, while Pradhan intends to pursue electrical engineering at the same campus.
School leadership credited the success to rigorous academic planning and consistent student effort. Chairman Shri Jyoti Ranjan Tripathy expressed pride in how these top ranks bring recognition to the entire state. Vice Chairman Shri Vikas Bahinipati recognized the faculty members whose daily guidance helped navigate the demanding national engineering syllabus.
