Bhubaneswar, October 7: Seven Odisha cadre IAS officers were transferred on Wednesday in a major bureaucratic reshuffle.

Nabarangpur Collector Dr. Maheswar Swain, a 2024-batch IAS officer, was appointed as the Additional Secretary to Chief Minister.

Pradeep Kumar Nayak, also from 2014 batch, was appointed as the Additional Secretary in the Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department. He is currently serving as the Additional Commissioner at the Additional Revisional Court, Bhubaneswar.

Nuapada Collector Madhusudan Dash (2014 batch) was posted as the Additional Secretary in the General Administration and Public Grievances Department.

Similarly, Anya Das, a 2019 batch IAS officer, was appointed as the Collector & DM, Nabarangpur. She is currently serving as the Deputy Secretary to Government, Health & Family Welfare Department.

Madhumita, (2020 batch) was named as the Collector & District Magistrate, Nuapada.

Ashni A L, (RR-2023), under Secretary to Government, in the Health & Family Welfare Department, was appointed as the Sub-Collector, Bhabanipatana replacing Kasturi Sha of 2024 batch, who was transferred as the Under Secretary to Government, GA & PG Department.
