Bhubaneswar, October 27: Odisha government on Tuesday made a bureaucratic reshuffle assigning new roles to eight IAS officers.

According to a General Administration & Public Grievance Department, 2012-batch IAS officer Poma Tudu has been appointed Director of Agriculture and Food Production, Odisha, while her batchmate Sangram Keshari Mahapatra has been posted as Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) of the Northern Division, Sambalpur.

Tudu, who was serving as Additional Secretary in the ST&SC Development, M&BCW Department, has been appointed Director of Agriculture and Food Production.

She was also given additional charge of Managing Director of the Odisha State Cashew Development Corporation Ltd.

Mahapatra, previously RDC in charge of the Southern Division at Brahmapur, has been posted as RDC of the Northern Division at Sambalpur. He will continue to hold the additional charge of the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) in-charge Chairperson.

Shubham Saxena of 2013 batch, who was serving as Vice-Chairman of the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), has also been assigned the post of Director of Agriculture and Food Production, Odisha, according to the list provided.

Dr Gavali Parag Harshad of 2013 batch, who joined the state government after repatriation from central deputation, has been appointed Managing Director of the National Health Mission (NHM).

Vijay Amruta Kulange of 2013 batch, Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services (AH&VS) with additional charge of Managing Director of OMFED, has been posted as RDC of the Southern Division at Brahmapur.

Chakravarti Singh Rathore (2014 batch), Director of Technical Education and Training, has been given the additional charge of Director of Horticulture while his batchmate Pranati Chhotray, Managing Director of OMFED, has been posted as Additional Secretary to the Government in the Home Department.

Subra Kumar Panda of 2015-batch officer, Director of Soil Conservation and Watershed Development, has been given the additional charge of Managing Director of the Odisha Agro Industries Corporation Ltd.
