Bhubaneswar, June 3: In a significant move to enhance access to elite civil services, the Odisha Higher Education Department has rolled out a free coaching initiative for UPSC Civil Services aspirants from the state. This program is designed to support 500 eligible students with 11 months of intensive coaching for both the Preliminary and Mains examinations.
Starting June 3, 2025, candidates can apply online via the official SAMS portal (www.samsodisha.gov.in). The deadline for submitting applications is June 12, 2025, by 11:45 PM. The coaching will cover General Studies and selected Optional subjects, aiming to build a strong foundation and boost the success rate of Odisha-based aspirants.
Only domiciled candidates of Odisha are eligible to apply. Those who have already applied earlier for the 2025–26 academic session need not reapply but must indicate whether they prefer residential or non-residential coaching.
Key Dates to Remember:
- Application Window: June 3 (12 PM) to June 12, 2025 (11:45 PM)
- Data Submission to SSB: By June 15, 2025
- Admit Card Release: July 1, 2025 (via ssbodisha.ac.in)
- Entrance Exam: July 6, 2025
