Bhubaneswar, Apr 9: The state government on Wednesday appointed retired IAS officer Manoj Kumar Parida as the new Chief Information Commissioner of the Odisha Right to Information (RTI) Commission.
Additionally, Orissa High Court advocate Kalpana Pattnaik, retired IPS officers Pranabindu Acharya and Pabitra Mandal have been named as Information Commissioners.
As per reports, Parida is a former bureaucrat of the AGMUT cadre and previously served as an Insurance Ombudsman in Bhubaneswar for a three-year term.
