Boudh, Aug 3: Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Sunday launched simultaneous raids at multiple locations associated with a MVI in Boudh district on allegations of amassing disproportionate assets.
The accused official has been identified as Golap Chandra Hansdah.
As per reports, a team of the Vigilance officials led by four DSPs, seven inspectors, and other supporting staff are carrying out simultaneous raids at six places on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge of Vigilance, Baripada.
The raids are being carried out at six places associated with Hansdah in Baripada, Boudh, and Bhubaneswar:
- Residential house of Sri Hansdah located at Prafulla Nagar, Baripada, Dist. Mayurbhanj
- His Rented residential house located at Boudh, Dist. Boudh
- Office chamber of Sri Hansdah located in the RTO office, Boudh, Dist. Boudh
- Paternal house of Sri Hansdah located at village Gudidiha under Khunta P.S., Dist. Mayubhanj
- Rented flat of his daughter at Pandara,Bhubaneswar
- House of his close associate at Baghdiha, Ward No. 28, Baripada
The raids are currently underway and more details in this regard are awaited.
